Boy&Bell is a New York based creative shop focusing on Advertising and Filmmaking.

The shop is founded and run by the internationally awarded Creative Director Maja Fernqvist.


Maja started out her Advertising career in Sweden. She moved to New York City 2004 and has worked at top agencies including Mother, BBH NY and most recently as a Creative Director at Droga5 NY. After 15 years in the industry she has created famous and successful work that the industry has recognized with multiple awards and recognitions. The extensive client list includes; The Coca Cola Company (Coca-Cola, Sprite, Vitaminwater), Unilever (Axe, Vaseline, All), LVMH, Audi, Cadillac, Levi’s, Perry Ellis, Budweiser, Miller Lite, NYC Company, Disney, The Red Cross, Starwood Hotels and Google.

Maja works with Advertising Agencies on a project basis as Senior Art Director/Creative Director.


Amongst Maja’s earlier film work you will find music videos and short films. The short film “Light” was selected by film festivals in the 2013 circuit. Amongst Maja’s most recent work you will find the Art film “Warriors” - a visual exploration integrating art sculptures and fight choreography as a “Make Art Not War” initiative. In spring 2015 Maja got selected to direct the short film “Consumed”, a Lionsgate sponsored project featuring characters from the “Twilight Saga Universe”. The film premiered on FB and had over 3 million views and over 130 000 likes in just the first 2 weeks. She just finished a Virtual Reality 3D short film - A modern take on The Little Red Riding Hood.
